She has spent her career working in Human Resources and Business Management for such companies as Springs’s Window Fashions, Metropolitan Life [MetLife] Insurance Company, and AT&T where she earned their prestigious Circle of Excellence Award for an innovative Performance Appraisal Program that was adopted corporate-wide.

Sarah lives in Laramie, Wyoming with her husband, Chad, and their three children ages 6, 5 and 2. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor's degree in English. While attending UW, she worked in the Office of Academic Affairs and after graduation she began working for WWF. Sarah is in charge of the Federation website, blog, and Facebook page, as well as the Sportsmen's Action Network website. In addition to working for WWF, she is a foster mom to infants and toddlers and a piano teacher. She is a fifth-generation Wyomingite and has been taught to love Wyoming and its wild places. Sarah and her family enjoy hiking, hunting, and fishing both near Laramie and in the Wind River mountains.

Joy lives in Lander, Wyoming with her husband, Aaron and son, Sebastian. She grew up in Iowa where she gained her appreciation for nature through the back woods of Sioux City. Joy received her Bachelors degree from the University of Wyoming through an inter-disciplinary program in Environment & Natural Resources as well as Political Science. She is a graduate of Leadership Wyoming, Class of 2010 and is board treasurer for the non-profit Wind River Alliance. Joy and the family like to take hikes, camp, fish, hunt and enjoy the state’s diverse landscape. As the Field Director for WWF, she works for access, to maintain the health of our wild lands, air and water, and for outdoor enthusiasts, sportsmen and wildlife watchers to enjoy our public lands now and in the future. Part of Joy’s role includes collaborating with diverse stakeholders on land management projects including federal and state agencies, sportsmen and women, elected officials, NGOs, citizens, and businesses to position wildlife, multiple-use and a viable ecosystem as part of the decision making process.

After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Lesley University. In my current position as a District Mentor Teacher, I work with teachers new to Natrona County School District in their first three years of teaching. It is so rewarding to work side by side with enthusiastic preschool to high school teachers experiencing their first years in the educational arena. I was fortunate to have a wonderful mentor when I started my career and want others to have the same positive experience. Being a National Board Certified Teacher, I also serve as a mentor for teachers pursuing their National Boards. My family consists of my husband of 32 years and two sons. Affie Ellis, a member of the Navajo Nation, is president of Ellis Public Affairs, a public and government relations firm based in Cheyenne, WY. She previously litigated as an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Wyoming. Ms. Ellis is an adjunct professor in the American Indian Studies Department at the University of Wyoming, where she focuses on the intersection of constitutional law, congressional action and Indian policy. She currently serves on the national Indian Law and Order Commission charged with writing a report to Congress and the President with recommendations to address crime in Indian Country. Formerly, Ms. Ellis worked as a policy advisor for U.S. Senator Craig Thomas (R-WY) in Washington, DC. While in Washington, she was also appointed by former President George W. Bush to serve as the Director of Congressional and Public Affairs for the National Indian Gaming Commission, an independent regulatory agency that oversees all Indian gaming.

I was honored by being chosen as the Teacher of the Year for LCSD#1 in 2008 and as a finalist for the WY Teacher of the Year. A few other achievments I have received throughout my career: Who's Who Among America's Teachers,Rotary Teacher of the Month, Golden Apple Achiever Award from Arch Coal to name a few. Mary Keller works at the intersection of feminist theory, postcolonial theory, and indigenous studies theory in order to study the relationship of religious lives to struggles for meaning and power. She teaches Introduction to World Religions, African Spirits in the New World, African American Religious Culture, and Gilgamesh to the Bomb. Keller emphasizes the geographical, historical and social context in which religious lives are embedded and then focuses on questions of personhood within religious traditions. Current research examines the role of sacred land in a world of global capital, money and agency, and recent developments in theory and method in the study of spirit possession.

Jody Levin launched Levin Strategic Resources in October of 2009, realizing a life-long goal of owning her own government and public relations firm. Levin has over fifteen years of public policy experience working with all levels of government, in addition to non-profit and private entities. From 2003-2009, Levin represented Qwest Communications as the Wyoming Director of Public Policy where she developed and implemented Qwest's legislative strategy. Levin also managed Qwest's Foundation activities and worked with communities to address service issues, while promoting technology-based solutions. Prior to joining Qwest in 2003, Levin spent five years coordinating natural resource and agricultural policy at the state and federal level. In 2002, Governor Jim Geringer appointed her as the first ever, Wyoming Endangered Species Coordinator where she worked with stakeholders to balance Wyoming's economic needs with species management. In Washington D.C., Levin had the distinct honor of working for Wyoming citizens as U.S. Senator Craig Thomas' Legislative Director. Levin serves on numerous civic boards, including the University of Wyoming, College of Agriculture Dean's Advisory Council, the Wyoming Rural Development Council where she is currently Vice-Chair and the Wyoming Land Trust. In May 2008, the American Council of Young Political Leaders selected Levin to represent the United States on a seven-member political delegation to Russia. Susie has a background in social work and mental health, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Leadership at the University of Wyoming. As the Deputy Director of the Wyoming Health Council, Susie's passion is in collaborating with children, youth, families, professional partners, schools, agencies, and communities to organize for social justice. Susie provides community assessments, consultation and community education in health promotion and disease prevention; reproductive justice including ensuring access to high quality, confidential, affordable reproductive health care for all and prevention of HIV and unintended pregnancy;sexual violence prevention, dating violence prevention, bullying prevention, creating safe and supportive schools and communities for all; collaborating to create mentally healthy communities; providing culturally and linguistically responsive health care and education; and empowering the voices of the people we serve through mixed methods transformative action research, participatory action research and Photovoice. Susie works closely with youth on the Wind River Indian Reservation and in gay-straight alliances throughout Wyoming to promote healthy relationships and empower youth voice for social justice. Susie is also the facilitator of the Albany County School District Teen Parenting Program and is adjunct faculty at the University of Wyoming's College of Education, having taught Diversity and Politics of Education, Organizational Leadership and Consultation, Group Experience for Counselor Education, Clinical Supervision of Counselor Education students, and Grief and Loss Counseling.

Jody Mayer is the Sexual Violence Prevention Specialist for the Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault. In this capacity, Jody works to further sexual violence primary prevention efforts within Wyoming communities. She is also the facilitator for the Wyoming Sexual Violence Prevention Council; a statewide council dedicated to eradicating sexual violence among youth and young adults in Wyoming. Jody has extensive experience as a national, state, and local trainer for interpersonal violence prevention, with special emphasis on community education and mobilization, colleges and universities, and youth groups. Alison A. Ochs is an attorney practicing in Sheridan, Wyoming. Lisa M. Osvold has been the Deputy Director of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services since March 2006. Prior to working for the Department, Lisa spent six year with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She began her career in social work during her four-year tour in the US Army, however, after becoming interested in vocational counseling she began focusing on a career in workforce development. Lisa grew up in Wyoming and graduated from high school in Encampment. She attended Laramie County Community College and later graduated from University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She completed her MBA in February of 2006 from CTU Denver, at which time she left Colorado to return to Wyoming.

Echo Renner is a writer, historian, and political buff. In 2002, she started her own business, Wood River Writing Company, LLC., doing freelance and grant writing, research, photography, genealogy, event planning and social media. She also works as a Field Editor for the Wyoming Livestock Roundup, writing primarily about ranch histories; the effects of wolves and grizzly bears on livestock, wildlife and people in the area; and natural resource issues. She has a vintage and antique furniture business, Vintage Gypsy Moon Studio, with her sister. In 2006, she compiled and edited the book Meeteetse, Wyoming Ranches & Cowboys: A Legacy. Since 2006, she has produced a monthly newsletter and written for Guardians of the Range, an organization that endeavors to protect livestock grazing on public land. In 2012 Echo Renner is a Republican candidate for the Wyoming House of Representatives District 28 (all of Hot Springs County; the Shoshoni & Lysite areas of Fremont County; the Basin, Burlington, and Otto areas of Big Horn County; and the Meeteetse School District in Park County).

Susan Thomas

In 2008, Mrs. Thomas established a foundation to help young people who need extra assistance to learn a profession or trade, and become productive citizens; and to honor the work her husband, United States Senator Craig Thomas, did for Wyoming. A non-profit, charitable organization, the Craig and Susan Thomas Foundation has already awarded scholarships to dozens of students who are at-risk, enabling them to gain post-secondary education in Wyoming colleges and trade schools. Mrs. Thomas personally mentors each student. Juanita Unhoch, Ed.D.

Dr. Unhoch came to Wyoming after nearly twenty years of service in New Jersey’s Public School system. Her countywide responsibilities in New Jersey were to provide strategies that integrate technology and education, and provide plans to meet the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. She also wrote grant proposals collaboratively to fund several computer-based classrooms and laboratories. Dr. Unhoch was responsible for the administration of these programs. Since relocating to Wyoming in 2007, Dr. Unhoch has been active in the Sheridan Community. She serves as President of the Sheridan Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), is a member of the WyWF Board, a member of the Auxiliary Board at Sheridan Memorial Hospital volunteers at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, and serves as a member of the Sheridan County Tripartite Board. Dr. Unhoch is one of two Wyoming delegates (and 102 nationally) invited to be a part of Vision 2020 . Vision 2020 is a decade-long national project focused on advancing gender equality by energizing the dialogue about women and leadership. According to Vision 2020, the event is "the first conversation to convene leaders from across the U.S. to launch a decade of dialogue leading to the centennial celebration of women's suffrage in 2020." Dr. Unhoch was selected based on her "leadership, accomplishments and promise (as a delegate)".

Denise Wheeler is a graduate of Brigham Young University and did advanced studies at the University of Utah. She has taught classes at various colleges and schools in Utah and Wyoming. After becoming involved in women's issues, Ms. Wheeler was appointed by Governor Herschler to the Wyoming Commission for Women. She was then appointed to the position of Women's Issues Specialist for AARP in 1986, and has spoken on these issues in five western states.
